ADD Power diesel generators of about 300 kW are models with a prime power of 240 to 400 kW. A generator of this size is installed for backup power in a plant or workshop, a shopping or business center, a hospital or a residential complex, and for continuous operation at a construction site, quarry or oil field where there is no grid.
In this selection: ADD330R (240 kW), ADD330SWD (240 kW), ADD330Y (250 kW), ADD415R (300 kW), ADD415SWD (300 kW), ADD415Y (300 kW), ADD440Y (320 kW), ADD500SWD (350 kW), ADD500Y (360 kW), ADD550SWD (400 kW), ADD550Y (400 kW). Y series models run on Yuchai engines. Each model lists two ratings: prime power for long-term operation and maximum power.
To choose a generator, calculate the total load of the site including the starting currents of motors and pumps, and add a 20–30% margin. ADD Group engineers will help with the calculation and select an ATS.
